Pencils, like all things are subject to entropy. I myself will eventually surrender to entropy, and willingly explore the state of matters that follows. If I appear to be suggesting with these two illustrations that a pencil may turn back into a tree I am being a bit fanciful, and you can ignore the whole conceit if you like. I really won't be too offended. I do have a degree in Latitude from the Engineering,Philosophy and Food Preparation Institute in Lake Equanimity you know, just in case you thought I was stupid.
The reason i love pencils is that they can return to being trees.
